I first noticed that there is a knob in the middle of the bottom, which is ok, but I prefer when the whole bottom spins to raise the deodorant. As for the scent of timber, it was very light, I had to really inhale to smell it. ( plus I didn’t really care for the scent). Finally, it was a bit rough to apply to my underarms, not smooth like other deodorants I’ve used. Bottom line, I didn’t care Old Spice Timber deodorant. He usually puts it on in the morning, and it keeps him smelling fresh and feeling dry all day—even when he's running around or hitting the gym. The scent is super chill—woodsy but not too strong—and it goes on really smooth without that sticky feeling some deodorants have. There are no white marks on his shirt either, which is always a win. It has a bold, masculine scent but is not too overwhelming. I was actually quite surprised by its nice scent. It glides on easily, but does have a slightly rough texture. However, it does not leave residue on skin or clothes and does not irritate my skin. I felt confident from morning to night when I was wearing this deodorant even with some unusually warm early summer days. This is a deodorant I would buy again. The scent of this deodorant really lasts a long time! I am not usually a fan of dry stick texture, however I would absolutely recommend this to other people. I am an active athlete, so I can say confidently this is a solid performing deodorant. I wore this every day for two weeks during my spring season and early off season training - I did smell significantly better than usual (which is saying a lot).

Also, the deodorant aspect wears off in a couple hours. Overall, Timber is easy to apply and smells wonderful, but it is not effective for a man who works outside and/or does manual labor constantly. I work outside in the heat and sun but while wearing this deodorant, I still smell fresh from any odor. I noticed I don’t have terrible sweat stains also since wearing. The scent of Sandlewood and Cypress is the perfect masculine scent. I would love this in a body spray.

The sandalwood and cypress just gives a very clean yet subtle refreshing smell. The next day I checked my mail and my husband ordered Old Spice Timber bodywash and an additional Timber antiperspirant. This is unusual for him. It kept him dry all day and confident. Highly recommend trying it.
