This figure, being from my favorite movie on top of being my favorite dinosaur, was a must get for me. I'm so happy I was able to secure one when the pre-orders went live. The only complaint is that the tail had a little bit of paint scratched off. Otherwise, it's a solid 5 Star figure. Perfect for collectors and kids to enjoy.

What I like about the Hammond collection. Spinosaurus is how good this figure is it. Super articulated, and what I feel like it could be the best Hammond collection in the world. I love the colors on the spinosaurus. and what I dislike is nothing. I love this Hammond collection, spinosaurus.

After a disappointing lost world raptor, the Hammond Spinosaurus delivers. It’s larger and bulkier than the original hasbro JP3 animatronic spinosaurus from 2001. It’s no surprise this is selling out fast, as Spinosaurus has always been a high demand dinosaur in the toylines since JP3. I am currently working on a detailed paint touch up on my second one. The sculpt is spot on and the paint job is very serviceable too. I’ve noticed the JP3 spinosaurus is one of the hardest dinosaurs to get the colors and patterns down, even for higher end collectible companies like W Dragon, Nanmu and even Prime one…don’t really “nail” it or get it right like they do other Jurassic park dinosaurs. Mattel did a decent job at getting the idea down and selling it as what it’s supposed to be. This is an upgrade to every Spinosaurus toy that’s been released to date. I’m glad my favorite Jurassic park dinosaur was given its due respect in this line.

For the first time in the history of the JP collecting franchise, we finally get an accurate JP3 Spinosaurus. Where all the other previous toy brands failed, Mattel has delivered. From the very start of Kenner, we were first introduced to "slice" Spinosaurus, all the way to the Hasbro JP3 Spinosaurus, which was the animatronic Spinosaurus. After this, we long dreamed, and sought out custom-works by talented artists to recreate a great spinosaurus, until Mattel came in and showed them all how It's done, The figure has perfect articulation, you can it place with many dioramas, and if you've got enough JP3 characters, especially the perfectly made hammond collection Trex, you can create your own alternate scene or story. It's a 10/10 For Mattel on this figure.
